is there something wrong with his hooves?

what does a normal hoof sole look like? my two horses have very different hooves, and i haven't seen (or at least closely examined) the hooves of very many other horses to compare. my quarter horse has what i consider normal hooves, but then my mustang hooves have huge frogs that stick out farther than the hoof wall. is this normal? it doesn't cause him any pain, and his hooves are trimmed well, not too short or anything, the frogs are just rather large. i didn't notice before because when i got him his hooves hadn't been trimmed in a very long time and they were just trimmed the other day. it could be totally normal, but like i said, i just haven't seen enough hooves to know for sure. thanks for any help you can provide!

The more the horse uses the frogs (like wild horses, horses left unshod) the bigger the frogs will usually be. Its a good thing to have nice big frogs and not shriveled up ones because the frog is what sends the blood back up the leg and they're supposed to make contact with the ground

awesome thanks. it just threw me cause i had never seen them like that before. since they didn't bother him at all i figured they weren't a big deal, i just wanted to make sure. it's always better to be safe than sorry when it's something like hooves.... thanks for the help!
