Is there a difference between the eggbutt full cheek snaffle and the full cheek snaffle?

Well yes, there are many different types of full cheek snaffles, not all of them are eggbutt.

A full cheek has a small ring with a bar crossing by one edge (really bad description, I'll find a pic). An egg but has an 'oval' type ring.

This is a normal full cheek snaffle.

This is an eggbutt.

And this is an eggbutt full cheek (usually referred to only as a full cheek, there (as far as I know) is no difference in function).
