Question Is She happy???

I do reining on my horse, but she doesn't seem that happy too me. Tell me what you think even if you dont do reining. OK, twist gets sooo excited when she does roll backs but starts to hop. when we try to slide stop we dont get that far, she just stops then continues walking after she kind of stops. Spinning, She great at spinning but she swishes her tail. When I lope her in a pattern she starts throwing her head then starts hopping like 2 steps.

Does any one think they know? By the way she is a quarter horse.

Sounds like she needs more reining training or isn't cut out to be reiner, or doesn't want to be.

How old is she? How long has she been in training for reining?

Could be ANYTHING. Could be sourness to improper bit/saddle fit. Could be sourness to ring. Could be health, routine, etc.

She doesn't sound "happy". Why she is not happy could be any number of reasons. You know her best, it'll be easiest for you to determine her mood/level of happiness

Twist is almost five and on her vet checks she is sound. Never been lame or anything. Never even had colic. Her bit and saddle are fit perfectly to her. She has been in training with a profesional for 2 years. So i know there is no problem. I just don't know if she likes reining.

She doesn't sound like she is agony but she might enjoy something else.
