We are not sure when my mom's mare got pregnant but we know she is. My question is how do we know when she is close? I'll tell you all the things that I saw when I was up there in hopes that it will help.

She had a big belly and then didn't.
Used to be able to feel baby but can push in her sides and then got hard.
Milk veins are HUGE but not bagging up. She does have clear fluid though.
Very jelly hips and behind.
Small amount of sticky fluid coming from vulva. (drop or two)
Will stop suddenly, bottom lip quivers and just stands with head down.
Very rough nipping at side.
When you scratch her belly (milk vein mostly) she will start chewing like she is the one scratching.
Yawning a lot.

I seem to be the only one she allows to touch her which is weird because normally this horse wants nothing to do with me.

We think that she is close to due date (would have got pregnant around June or July of last year) but not sure. Is she close or do we have a while to wait yet?
