Try this.. I'm 5'5" and my mare is 14h and a smidge..

with my stirrups lowered to the normal spot I look just like you do on yours, except I think mine is more compact/shorter in the body.

That's an almost perfect fit, imo!

ETA: I wish I had some pics of me on my 14.2 hand Arab...hehehe I'm 5'9, so I dwarf him.

Not by a long shot. If anything you are too small for that horse.

Look at just about any reining picture and you will see smaller horses with much larger riders. You are fine.

At 4 she's probably still growing anyway. I know my horse is the right size for me (I'm 5 foot even) and she's about 15 hands. I could *probably* go slightly shorter, but I like to have a bit of size on her...) Anyway I think she's lovely.

I am big on Adaan but it doesn't seem to bother him. I'm 5'8" and he's 14.3, so I always feel huge. I think you look fine on your mare! Not too big at all!
