No, you're not too big for her at all. Beautiful little girl. Besides, if she's only 4 there's still a chance that she's still growing. If nothing else, she'll probably fill out some more.

How tall are you, and how tall is she? Your weight would also play into the mix but I won't ask you that lol! It doesn't seem like she is too big for you, because your leg is not dangling under her belly...however, you are in a close contact saddle and you are sitting in a "chair seat" position, so it is a bit hard for me to say EXACTLY if you are too big or not. ' IF you are too big, then you are only by a little bit, I can definitely say that much. She is also only four, so there still might be a chance she could get bigger, even though Thoroughbreds seem to mature at a younger age than other breeds, like Warmbloods who usually tend to mature completely at at least the age of five. If you don't feel big on her when you ride, then that is no biggie! I am 5'1, 110 lbs., and my horse was 15h and close to 1000lbs. He was a wonderful size for me, and he also moved big, so that was even better. I could see over the top of his back, and rest my elbow on it comfortably, so that goes to show that it should fit nicely. I groom for my instructor and most of the horses are 16h+, so a horse that I don't need to use a stool on is always a major plus lol! If you are just using her a pleasure horse, as in, not showing or doing anything "serious", then she is definitely not too small. If it seems like she is moving nicely (freely and forward) then your size is totally not inhibiting her comfort and movement. You are not a very big person, and she is an average sized horse, so that should work fine. From what I can tell, you two are pretty well matched. She is also very pretty

I have to go with the trend and say that you are far from too big for her She's gorgeous, I love grays and TB's. Best of both worlds
