I have spelled it l u n g i n g. That is also how I have always read and said it.
Coronary band has also always been the coronet band to me

THe coronet/coronary wording is similar to some people calling the "rotator cuff" the "rotary cup" or "rotater cup". They just hear words that are similar and think they are pronouncing them correctly.

Yup! Happens all the time.

Today I saw someone say "from the gecko" in a post where, I believe, they intended to say "from the get-go". It's always good for a giggle.
