Question Is it bradoon or bridoon?

Are the spellings regional? Which one is correct?

I have always seen bradoon. I have never seen it spelled with an i around my area!

Could be a country thing though. We are still behind on colour genetics (Yes, any horse that is black and white is piebald to 90% of people... ), so don't take my word for it

I have seen it both ways. I am not sure which is more correct than the other though.

I'm assuming this is a coat color reference? I had to open it b/c I'm clueless as to what it means.

I believe she is referring to a bradoon bit.

Yes, it's a type of bit used with a double bridle.

So far with googling, I've seen both spellings...

Technically both are correct, however, I don't believe that I've actually seen or heard anyone use bridoon.
