Question Is he a Brindle??

I was reading about Brindle horses and their weird coat patterns of light and dark areas. Then I got to thinking that my horse Buddy has a lot of that in his coat too. Here is a pic that shows the color changes the best. Notice the darker and lighter hair swirls on neck and shoulders and belly. Is he a Brindle?? Thanks.

No I don't think so, although I don't know what he is! Brindles have stripes, not swirls.

example of a brindle....

I'd call him a buckskin, but I noticed some of his mane is grey/white. Lol. Brindles are really pretty and really rare.
