Is anyone else counting down the days?

Am I the only one or are there others out there that are anxiously awaiting the snow to melt and it to get warmer for a completely strange reason?

I am DYING to be able to give our guys a bath.

Four months of poo stains and dingy whites is driving me nuts!! I would use vinegar and water but with no heat in our barn I don't want to risk leaving the two lighter horses with damp coats. And the shaggy coat needs to go!!! Where have my sleek coated guys gone? And who replaced them with fuzzy bears??

So c'mon spring!!!

I want this:

Back to this!!!!! (Well not size wise of course )

Anyone have a 'spring cleanup' regime they use?

I agree.
I am soooo tired of the mub. I wouldn't care if it would be cold and freeze, or get warm and dry things out. I am tired of it getting warm during the day melting the snow and making a mess, then kind of freezing at night so that the ground is crunchy.
I want to give the boys a bath too.

I am sick of winter. I am sick of indoor arenas, half frozen water, wearing gloves and layers of jackets. Sick of frozen ground, muddy ground, flooded arenas.
I want spring!!! Blue skies, green grass, birds chirping, flowers popping, sunshine...ahhh.

I am sick of looking like the Michellin man everytime I go out to work with the horses.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a not heavy duty but strong shampoo for that first bath as soon as the yucky snow disappears? I have the Rio Vista stuff, but I need something for yellowing.

Why oh why did I get a horse that's mostly white when I swore I never would again??

Since CO has been hit exteremly hard with snow, I'm pulling my hair waiting for spring to come. I just want to give Casper a bath, and see the green grass. The snow is horrible, and ugly. I'm so sick and tried of it. Hurry up spring and summer!!!

I hate winter. I miss spring.. I love it when its warm enough to body clip and start prepping for show season. What I really despise is the transition, from frozen ground to mud... I wish there was a way to go from frozen to completely thawed and dried up quick.

Oh I know exactly what you mean. I'm not sure what is worse, snow and ice or caked on mud. I'm almost tempted to clip Mocha but she was clipped by her old owner last spring and she didn't get as wooly a coat as I would like this year.
