I think I am in love! He has turned out to be stunning, you two have done wonders with him! He looks right at home with your hubby on him.

Wow what a difference. What a beautiful boy!!!
I love that sweet face.
You both did a fantastic job with him.

Wanna ship him to California? heehee

I've wanted a Brumby since I read the Silver Brumby as a kid LOL

We ride in Aussie saddles and let me say they are one of the most comfortable saddles Ive ridden in. We have four and are getting another one for the kids. We have the stock poleys and a western crossover. I prefer the stock saddles myself.

Thank you jwhisperj!!! I am actually quietly surprised myself, as when i first saw him i was like...ok, we'll do our best for him....got him home and he has just blossomed ever since and really grown into himself!.....Such a handsome young man he turned out to be lol!....oh, and my hubby, well what can i say....he says they are "boys" lol!....he actually named him Dolbro after his Dolbro guitar (mad musician)....since he's had his first rides i've taken over education and we've developed such a lovely bond. Gorgeous temprement for a horse that is still "endowed" hahaha!...we will be very sad when we have to let him go ...

Wow! They are both so very cute!
It is sad that the locals want to get rid of the wild horses because that is the horses land! I mean, how long have horses been living there?

Thanx Kamara!....i also had daydreams of owning a brumby when i was a kid...so glad i had the chance to start our very own
I love the fenders also....sooooo comfy (especially my hubbies one, he doesn't do to much riding these days....only when he has to with the youngins so i steal his all the time )....i find for me they are the best saddles for educating yougins or re-educating i think!

ummmm, i'm not quite sure how long they'd been there???....I think it is sad also, it is a developing area (more and more houses going up but still country roads/farms etc) and apparently they were "getting in the way"....on the roads and peoples properties??...i don't get it either! .....I must say i am glad these 2 found us though

I live in CA but I was in Nevada looking for a horse trailer last year, and we have some friends there and they say that wild horses used to come in to their back yard, but with new housing developments being built, the horses are no were to be seen! It is kinda sad because horses have been their for hundreds of years undisturbed .
