Smile Interesting day..

Well today I went to visit the stable that I took lessons at for 4 years. I learned to ride ther. And I pretty much lived there. I hadn't been there for over a year now since I had gotten my own horse and boarded somewhere else which caused a disagreement between me and my instructor that owns the farm I took lessons at. But today me and my mom drove up that and she was super happy to see us. And I was so happy to see her, she was like another mother to me. She was one of my best friends. It was great to see her again. And best of all, I got to see Phyliss. Phyliss is the horse I rode for the last 3 years that I was there. I loved that horse more then anything. We had an unbreakable bond. That was the hardest part of leaving that farm. I cried for weeks because I missed her, even though I had my own horse. I love Patton to death and I've defidently formed the same kind of bond with her. But today when I walked up to Phyliss. I know that horse remembered me. I don't care what anyone says, even though she hadn't seen me for over a year, she still knew me. I hugged her and talked to her for at least 20 minutes. Gosh it was just so amazing to be reunited with her again. And I got to see the rest of the horses that I knew so well. Danny, I trained him from when he was a baby and I was the first one to ride him. He has grown up soo much. I was so happy to see him.
It was just amazing to be back there again. And I plan to stay in touch and continue to visit them. I couldn't bear to be seperated from Phyliss for so long again. Before I left today she gave me this look like, please don't leave me again. I could see it in her eyes.

Here's some old pictures of me and her-

-hahah bath time.

-the last time I ever rode her.

Aw, those are such cute pictures of you and her. She seem's like an amazing mare, that's great that you got to go and visit her. It sounds like you two had a very special bond.

Phyliss is gorgeous! I'm glad that you've reconnected with her, as well as your old trainer.

Isn't it great to see our old horsey friends after what feels like years apart?

I cried when the therapy center took in a QH, Champs, that I had ridden all the time like he was my own. I hadn't seen him in 2 or 3 years and there he was again, head in my arms.

It's a great feeling.

Those pics are great. Phyllis is a really pretty mare. I love the looks of her.
