Shiko Waka ( I think that's spelled right... ), I think it's the Souix's word for horse... litterally translates ito "Big Dog"

Cherrokee ( my mom had a horse named that)

Little Worrior ( another of mom's)
    My Herd:
    Solo
    Feather
    Kahuna

I have a TB mare named Saskatchewan, and her first foal is Nanjemoy..

Saskatchewan is a province in Canada... do I have that correct Canadians? And also a name of an Indian tribe... I think, LOL... Nanjemoy is a little town down here, but also the name of a local Indian Tribe...
In my experience, the best way to slow down a runaway horse is to bet on it...

Wow! on the site that Cathy posted! I am also interested in Indian names & culture, etc.
Just off the top of my head, I was just going to say Comanche, Lakota, Tonka (my fav), but now - this opens up a whole new world.

Thanks Cathy and thanks to crazy4apps for bringing up the subject
