In foal question

My mini mare is due the third week of July. This morning I noticed she is holding her tail up a little bit. She is squishy in the bum, and her milk sac is droopy but not filling up. Does this mean anything? This is my first experience with having a foal; so I apologize if that question sounded stupid!

the two mares we watched closesly so far this year did hold up their tails more when they where close. also the jell-o but is a good sign that she is close. Not all mare bagg up fully before they foal, some go down with no sack and come up with a full bag of milk for their new born foal. Keep an eye on her

I would keep a close eye on her. My mare Thyme was 3 weeks early according to our vet. She wasnt really bagged up and didnt show really any signs of the baby coming she just dropped it at 12:00 in the afternoon, it was really werid. So your mare could be having the baby early or just showing early signs, all mares are different just keep a good eye on her.
