Im thinking about cutting Dolly's mane...

I was so happy that she had a mane (my old appy didnt) and i like it now, but i thin she might look kind of cute with a shorter mane too. But i dont know what to do. Im afraid if i cut it, that it wont grow back. it more then likey would though. But i dont know hat to do , should i cut it or leve it?

wow i cannot believe i forgot the pcitures.

the first one is hte oly recent picture out of these, but it doesnt show her man. and the others are older ones.

she actually looks really cute with it long, im not sure depends on what u really like.

thanks. i have no idea what i like really. i mena i know i will never cu Rio's mane(my otherhorse) but Dolly i don't know. maybe ill put it up tomorrow so it looks short but its not cut, nad deceide what looks better.thanks!

Let us see the short version. Maybe that will help us decide what to tell you. I think her mane is ok the way it is though. I like long manes.

okay thank you. i will take 2 pictures of her odya, one with it noraml and the other with it up the best i can withut cutting it. i will have the pcitures by 6:00 tonight(when i ride and feed and everything) and its 12:39 here, so it will be awhile but htey wll be up soon. thanks!

I personally think it looks cute long. If you are planning on showing her, then I would trim it.

Depends on how thick it is. My appy has an almost nonexistant mane, it grows but it is really thin throughout most of it. I just trim it all up and it really shows off her neck and it makes it look thicker. But if you're not shwoing then it doesn't really matter what you do :-)

okay i lied, im going outside to get pcitures now.

i show her and it seems like everybody has their horses' manes short. and she has a show on the 29th and i dont know if i want to cut it. he mane is normal, not thin but not thick. thanks for the replies.
