Im terrified!!! **PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!!!

omg i have never been this terrified in my life. There is a bush fire 1-2 km from my home and im still here!!!!! Long story but its 12.30 at night and we came back to save the horses. For some birrazze reason my mum wont let us leave yet!!! SHE WANTS TO WAIT TILL THE FIRE GETS CLOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to get the **** out of here. You can see the yellow smoke throught the treesa nd smell the smoke from an hour away!!!!!! I tried getting everything out that i want but i cant think. My brain is all scrambled. I feel like im going insane im so scared. My friend down the road has chosen to stay and fight. I cant even explain myself any more.

PLEASE,PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!! AND EVERYONE ELSE!!! I could lose everything I own tonight.

Sending up quick prayers right now.
What a horrible decision to have to make.
Please let us know how you fare.

No we can save the horses thats why we are here!!! We decided to risk it and go back to the house. long story we came from melbourne. We think the fire will go in ther oppisite direction.

Im so freaked out its really surrel. My tshirt is soaked in sweat. We just talked to the neibours who have been here the whole time and they said before all you could see was a wall of flames!!!!

Pray that the fire will go in another direction but its could easly swing around and come back this way.

Just sent up a big prayer for you, your horses, and everyone/thing affected by that fire! Please stay safe.

Calm down and help your mom all that you can. Panic will not help.

If you have a lawn sprinkler put it on the house roof and turn it on if you have to leave.

Looks like the wind has changed and the fire has changed direction away from us. A neibour came over just now and said that some of the houses near us have been distroyed. They were in the bush on a hill and with all the wind there was just no hope.

For the time being the fire is totally out of control. Its going to be a long night, if the wind turns dn the fire swings back towards us we will have to get away. Its about 1.40 am here.
