Question I'm stumped any suggestions...

Okay we were out feeding this afternoon and I noticed Tab our mustang standing out in the field alone. This is odd she's alpha-mare and always into something. So I went to investigate. I found her standing with a bag full of milk, well on one side. So we brought her into the barn and further examined her and well I just don't know. We have tried for two years to get her in foal with no success couldn't even get her in heat. The vets couldn't figure out why either. However she did spend up until last December in the field with a yearling colt? He didn't know what he was doing but this would be about the right time... However I would think we would notice her if she was... She's not obviously fat nice lean muscled mare (Reno's mom for those who know Reno) So I don't know whats up! she let me milk her and she has nice white milk not clear like some other mares I have seen that do this.Or is this a false pregnancy? Anyways, I have her in the barn and I even turned on my foaling camera so I could at least observe her and see if I could determine something... I'll be calling the vet fisrt thing int he morning. I just worry that something weird could be going on from her wreck! She was hit by a truck in October see my post Tab vs. Truck.
Any input would be great!

That is an interesting case. It sounds like she could be pregnant, but I think that it would be obvous. Just tell us what happens.

She could be phantoming or may even have a hormone imbalance. A preg test or ultrasound through your vet will clear up any suspicion.

A colt that young indeed can breed.
I would get her checked either palpated or sonogrammed anything to find out and soon.

Yes it could be hormones too.
