I'm sooo excited!!!

i have just came back from a sing contest and i won...the judges said that my voice could take me a long way and now they are financing me to get lesions in singing and song writing im like soo excited..i thought i had a terrible voice..i only went in the comp to make my bf happy lol.....

Great job!!
I wish I could sing- I'm pretty involved in musical theatre, backstage, so I'm ALWAYS surrounded by these incredibly talented singer. =D

Mhm i do more of the acting side though. I really like just plain plays cause i can't sing to save my life. Thus far i must say my favorite part has been Mrs.Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Everyone loved the accent! Ohhh i bet sweeny todd was fun!

I haven't seen Charlie and The Chocolate Factory on stage.
One of my best friends in an actress in straight plays. She's preparing an audition for The Scottish Play (haha, I'm not superstitious, but I don't even want to type it's proper name...) right now. I really wanted to ASM for it, but I'll be missing half of the rehearsal process to go to Australia... so that'll never happen. =D
I really enjoy straight plays, though. Last night I saw a farm comedy called Dry Streak, and it was wonderful. The Good Doctor is another favourite.

Ohh they sound pretty good! I wish your friend the best of luck! Would you happen to know any good comedy plays with a good monologue? I am wanting to audtion to preform at our state conference and it needs to be a published play and i can't find anything
