Im 19, im schooling um... who knows, still a little fine tuning in first level work, showing 1st level. The horse I bought had no dressage training but niether did I, we have been officially doing dressage work for about 2 1/2 years or less. We have learned just about every thing together, and every now and then I have my trainer, train my mare then me.

I'm 19, I'm currently practicing Novice mainly. I think. I'll tell you what the movements I'm playing with are and you can decide what level it is! Lengthening and a little collecting (not true collection), medium trot, shoulder in, renvers, travers, 10m circles in trot, 15m circles in canter, leg yeild, turn on the forehand.

The highest I have competed in is Elementary. I don't 'do' dressage as such, I'm more of an eventer I guess, or an alrounder, but I would definately do pure dressage if I couldn't event.

I'm 19, and currently compete at Training & First Levels. I'm schooling Second Level. For my first horse, he was trained when I bought him, but I never showed him. My current show horses have been trained/retrained by myself and a friend.

First Horse: Trained, but not as a dressage horse. I got her as an eventer.
Second Horse: He was also trained, and I have lessons on him every week with a very good GP instructor (who I groom for on free days). Throughout his life he was a jumper and did some eventing, and we started him purely in dressage in May.
Level currently showing: Training at schooling shows...aiming for a 70!
Goals: To at least be long-listed for the Olympics and to show Mack at a recognized show at Second Level
Evented?: Yes, and I loved it. I found that the dressage helped so much. When they're supple and responsive it's a lot easier ^_~. Unfortunately, most of the eventers I've met up with aren't so excited about the dressage lol.

i'm practicing 2nd level with Maxi @ home, showing 1st. we've done eventing in the past, but i'm not a huge fan. he's not mine, he was already trained up through level 1 when i started riding him. with Rose we're just doing training - we've only been to schooling shows. i've trained her from the ground up (with a ton of help from my trainer!), though she's not my horse either, lol. oh, and i'm 17

I'm 16, I JUST started doing dressage (like 5 months ago). I'm training my own horse to do it, and I'm helping train another horse (with the help of a great dressage trainer). I'm just riding training level, i think, I don't really know the levels. idk, i can do a collected w/t/c as well as "free" walking, or whatever it's called, and with my own horse I can do shoulder-in, haunches-in, side pass, turn on the forehand and hind end. Sorry, i don't know all the fancy lingo - just started. Does anyone know what level i'm riding at? lol, i feel like such an uneducated loser. Oh well, I'm over it.

Edit: wow, i just realized that I wrote that I'm 15, but no worries, I changed it. I'm 16, have been for 7 months. wow i must be tired.

I'm 17 (almost 18!)

I have schooled up to 3rd level (flying changes, half passes etc) and competed up to 2nd. Actually I have done piaffe on my trainer's horse but I don't think that counts

My first dressage horse was very well trainined in westernin hunt seat, and through our time together spent around 4 months (not consecutively) with my trainer, 2 months when we bought him, and then 2 months when I was recovering from a major surgery. And of course I had regular weekly lessons.

Pal I have trained to do dressage from the ground up. He spent only 1.5 months at the VERY beginning with my instructor, just trying to learn hims leads and the veyr veyr basics, everything else I have done, with lots of lessons of course.

I also event, but needles to say, I would still do dressage if it was not required.

I am currently schooling a bit of first level and will be competing again in Training next year (did two shows in Intro/Training last year).

My horse was started as a 3 yr old by my trainer in dressage then moved by his owner to a hunter barn where he did a bit of hunters for a year and a half. I bought him at 4 and 1/2 yrs and we've been training dressage for the past 9 months. Six months prior to buying him I was riding Dolly (the Friesian mare in BOP's posts) and she was trained up to first level, so she taught me the basics. But Nova and I have been struggling through it together ever since.
