Does anybody else have chorse they have to do everyday around the house and yard, and if you do, do you get an allowence??

I have chores that I have to do I have full care of our animals 3cats 2dogs and five horses I also mow the lawn help stack hay, and when my parents aren't home rake care of my 7yr old brother. Which my parebts aren't home alot because my dad is a carpenter, and my mom is a nursing student and also has a part time job at lifetime assistance. I do not get an allowence. And when I want to get something I have to pay for but the only problem is I have no money .


I was just curious if anybody has designated shores aor if they get an allowence.

I take care of all pets.
2 dogs
3 cats
2 hermit crabs (2 spererate tanks)
3 turtles(3 seperate tanks)
2 horses

Those include cleaning, feeding, watering, walking, washing dog 1x a week etc.


And I set the table, clear the table, unload the dishwasher, clean 2 bathrooms, keep computer desk clean, clean my room, dust my room, etc.

I get no allowance.My parents pay for the board, feed, shavings, wormer, and some shows for my 2 horses.
I have to pay for any tack I want,blankets, sheets, halters, anything not necessary.I also have to pay for some shows and more classes if I want to do them.

My grandma pays me $60 a month for cleaning my great-grandma's house 1x a week.That includes dusting, vacuuming etc.

I get an allowance... it's just enough to buy my school dinner every day and get me to and from school, with just a little to spare.

I do odd chores, put the washing out, do the washing up, drying, etc..

I Get 20 Pounds A Month , I Dont Have Any Proper Chores .. I Look After MY Dog .. And If Mom Asks Maybe Once A Week Unload The Dish Washer ? Thats About It

But I Dont Own A Horse ... But I Will Hopefully In The Near Future And Then I Probably Wont Get As Much Pocket Money ..

I work HARD all week and get $5 for it, plus extra money if I help dad with treework, etc. I think it's fair, because I don't buy my own food, clothes, etc.

I get an allowance no matter what (slowly being weaned off it now as I am working), but I am often required to do chorses. I generally do the dishwasher, completely clean the family room, walk the dog (not really a chore), and clean the kitchen at night before bed.

But if I do "other" chores, such as yardwork or more difficult non-everyday tasks, then I get payed 6$ an hour. Mowing the lawn, front and back, gets me 7$, which I think is pathetic as it is really hard work.

I get allowance $5 a week. If I clean the whole house, dishes, laundrey, animals, and babysit my sister.

I don't get an allowence. I take care of my parent's dogs, keep one bathroom clean, either cook or clean up after dinner 2-3 times/week, weed once a week in summer, vacuum, groom dog, other odd chores and train my sister's horse at least twice a week. So, not a ton of chores. In return, I get board for my horse, shoes, vet care, etc. I think I've got a pretty good deal ^.^

I take care of the house... do the dishes, washing, clean the rest of the house, the yard, care for the animals (2 cats, 2 dogs, 1 messy bird, 1 rabbit... my mom feeds the chooks and ducks) and then I cook dinner(unless I go on strike for a night and get someone else to do it)
I don't have an allocated allowance.
I just take whatever my mom gives/buys me as a thank you for doing it all for her.
