IDAHO ALERT: NetPosse Seeks Son of Seattle Slew – Wanted Dead or Alive!



Saved from an uncertain fate, this stallion disappeared during cross-country transport …





Whether you are a fan of horse racing or not, you will likely know who Seattle Slew is. This legendary thoroughbred is the only undefeated winner of the Triple Crown. And in the last twenty-eight years, not one thoroughbred has met the challenge of winning all three of these races since Affirmed in 1978. This year, Barbaro was America’s hope, but on May 20, that dream came to an end when he was pulled up with a shattered leg in the Preakness Stakes. While America honors Seattle Slew and rallies around Barbaro, there is another thoroughbred that needs our attention – a son of the amazing Seattle Slew.

The same day Barbaro’s Triple Crown attempt ended in disaster, transportation arrangements were made to haul Honor Boy, the 17-year-old son of Seattle Slew from Pennsylvania to Arizona. But only a few days after this stallion was loaded onto a trailer and began his journey west, he disappeared – the carriers claims he is dead. When he showed signs of sickness during the trip, the carrier refused to provide veterinary services despite the owner’s pleadings, and, since May, the carrier has failed to provide evidence of Honor Boy’s death.

Argh, things like this make me never want to ship a horse.

I believe the company's name was desert skye transport. Don't hold me to that, I just heard that word ouf mouth after I was asking for recommendations on them after they sent me a quote for hauling Lucy.

I just pray to God this horse as many that are stolen are recovered alive.
recently I received an tearful e-mail that a horse who was stolen named Bunny was found in a field dead, no details were given out. there are many reasons why horses are stolen, I hold onto a main reason "money" money is to be made on this animal, I think some theives get scared and leave the horse, other reasons, one horse the two men broke a horses leg, she was found making her way home the owners had to put her to final peace.

I want everyone to know that you can help, help with the stolen horses, just act and post up fliers and other ways, you doing so makes a difference between life and death and more ways you can imagine.
