If you sell horses this may have happened to you. Since there is a contract sell this type of "theft" is not a theft in the judicial system, instead it is a civil matter. Translated this means YOU have to find your horse before YOU can go through the court system. You will not get any help from law enforcement in searching.

Linda is located in Tennessee and needs our help to find her two Arabians. She is very concerned for their well being since the buyer refuses to contact her and pay the monies owed.

Gabby (pictured) is 9 yr old grey Spanish Arabian. Have you seen them? Their last known location was in the Detroit, MI area. Don't forget, these horses could be anywhere.

Please pass this to your friends and associations and ask them to do the same. Don't forget to contact Linda to let her know she has your support. A few words goes a long way in comforting a worried victim.

So let me get this straight...you have a contract to sell and they break this contract. There is NO possible way to get law enforcement involved? That makes no sense to me o.o
If I bought a car, and didn't pay, they sure as heck would track me down!!
I don't understand our judicial system sometimes....

It is not hard to ship a horse so it could be anywhere.

UPDATE: The horses are found but the owner may still need help with housing them in michigan until she can get them back to Tennisee(sp).

Are you anywhere near Bellville, MI? The lady below has found a couple of her horses in MI and they are being picked up by the Humane Society as I type this. She needs help getting those horses to a place where they can be housed until she gets transportation back to TN. If you are not near there do you know anyone who is or who may have a rescue that would take them in? Linda's contact info is below if you would like to offer any help to her or find out more. As you can see, she is in TN and can't get to the horses today.
