Everyone makes mistakes! At least we got that sorted out haha. Genetics really interest me hehe. I love to study them.

I too enjoy them, although I am not as proficient in color genetics outside of basic colors, Chestnut, black, bay, grey Arabians just don't come in a wide range of pattersn, colors, etc, lolol...

I'm more on top of dog color genetics and those can still give me a total migrane from thinking too hard, ROTFLMAO.

haha cool. I don't understand dog genetics but give me horse genetics and I can handle those no problem. My breed of choice, miniatures, come in all colours under the sun, so I wanted to learn what was what so I could have a general idea of what I'll get when breeding.

Sorry for the confusion!!! I don't know why I put that first stallion up. They were both light colored so I spose that I didn't really look which one I was posting. Sorry about that. But yes...she is bred to that last stallion.

haha no problem! Did we help you at all? Not really I guess since the foal could really be any colour...

From what i can see on the studs web page he is a double dilute therefore the outcome will be of a single dilute foal ( buckskin or palomino). When breeding a cremello to a chestnut/sorrel it's a 100% guarantee of a palomino foal, and to a bay/black/brown mare it's more likely a buckskin but palomino is also possible.
no matter what way you look at it you will have 50% chance of the foal being a solid or with paint markings.

Seeing as when you traded the mares Icy was not in foal, do the owners expect you to pay the stud fee or to return the foal once weaning age?
I would get a contract drawn up if they agree that the foal will be your's as they could turn around wanting to take it from you.

opps didn't realize that she was in foal to the champagne stud hehe..

If i were to make a guess i would say she'd have a palomino or chestnut foal of either solid or paint markings.

what are you going to do with this unplanned foal? How late into the pregnancy is she, is termination still a possibility?

Well...after much consideration, I'm pretty sure I'm not going to do a trade back. I just can't take on a mare and foal at this time. She is about a month or two into her term I think.
