I would love to adopt a draft or clysdale!

We live on a farm and I have plenty of grazing.I have one 2yr old bottlefed donkey.She follows me like a dog and gets to come in for her birthday.But I have always wanted a draft breed to take slow rides around the farm.I can ride,but Now that I;m 50 I wanna take it sloww.Keep your ears open.I;m in Ga. Thanks

Have you tried going to auctions? with winter just around the corner it is a good time to get unwanted horses in need for nearly nothing!

PMU rescues always have drafts and draft crosses available, from foals to adults, but most of them are not trained for riding yet. I dont know if you're wanting a draft that's already trained to ride or if you'd be interested in training yourself. I bought my Belgian Draft off of equine.com and it's the best decision I've ever made. She is AWESOME and I love her.
