    Breed to a homozygous tobiano.

But, I would personally look for one that's already on the ground.

It's either Paint, or it's QH There is no Paint QH.

As said, the only way to guarantee spots is to use a homozygous Tobiano parent.

Hopefully that will be 2nd behind all the other criteria that should compliment and aim to improve the mare

why would you even breed your quarab mare back to a stock horse?? makes no sense but okay.... i would just find a homozygous patterened stud wether its tobiano or overo .... youll have your paint foal....
you come running with grace and elegance, in your eyes i see the real bueaty of your breed, the arabian horse. known like no other!

arent they suppose to be pony sized, or am I just crazy?

Why wouldn't she breed a Quarab mare to a stock horse? Besides the limited (if any?) registration possibilities, The mix can be great.

Overo doesn't come in Homozygous I wish!

Sabino and splash can both be homozygous as can dominant white. Its only Frame overo that causes problems when homozygous.

A Quarab to a stock horse just makes no sense registration wise. In the current market it is ESSENTIAL to have registration options for any foal to make sure it is marketable. Best best for a quarab mare is to breed to either a pure arab or a high percentage pintabian (which could fuflil the wish for a pinto foal) so that the foal can be shown in arab breed shows as a registered part bred arab. Breeding to a homozygous tobiano pintabian would also guarantee registration options as a pinto and add another string to the foal's bow.

DW canNOT be homozygous. It is an embryonic lethal.

Sabino and splash however, as you said, can be.

And she isn't going to find a homozygous PINTO Arabian stallion.

Breeding the Quarab to a Paint makes no sense with regards to the economy and current market but at least it will possibly be eligible for Pinto papers.
