I want a mule!

We just got the RFD-TV channel on directtv, and it has a lot of horse programs on it well i just watch a show about training mules and they were soooo cute, and the lady, Meredith Hodges, trains her mules for everything, from driving to dressage. A mule doing dressage is awsome. before that i was waiting a show, linda parelli was was working with a horse on a lead over a jump.... I wouldn't let that lady on my farm let alone near my horses.. here she is wiggling the lead rope to back the horse then wacks the horse in the nose with lead to make it back more, the longer she worked with the horse the more frazzled it became and it wouldn't go near the jump, where as when the owner was working with it,the horse at least went over it, maybe it was a bad demonstation, but i definatly wasn't impressed with my first glimpse of parelli techniques

Mules are great!!

I rode a lovely mule called Joker when i was on holiday in Yosemite National Park, all the mules there were so gentle and sweet

I didn't have a horse at that time but was looking for one and i was seriously considering a mule!

About the Parelli, my friend Gayle does it and has done some of the Parelli exams too, she always knows what she is doing and the horses she works with are never in any danger.

I have always wanted one too. I got to farm with a perch/mule cross last year. She was incredible!

I would never want to own a mule. I train mules for a guy who uses them out west in the mountains for packing and riding. Makes me glad I own horses. LOL They are a lot different than horses.
