i think i broke his heart

maybe he realized he didnt like you as much as he thought. stuff like this happens all the time. if i were you i just wouldnt contact him at all, ignore him in the hallways and find another guy to date. The first month is always going to be the hardest.
But i wouldnt reccomend trying to be his friend, you still have 'more than friend' feelings about him right now and trust me when i say it will be the worst move ever on your part. been there, done that, need to stop doing that, and got the crappy t-shirts.
