I started my clean up efforts for Isis. First time mane pulling!!

Well, yesterday I started the efforts by clipping her bridle path with a scissors, I think I did an ok job but I think I need to make it a little longer. Other than that, besides it being slightly uneven, it looks good!

Then I got her hair wet that is on the wrong side and braiding it on the side I want it on. So now she has 3 cute braids, one right behind her bridle path and the other two down at the end of her mane that are now ajusting to being on the other side.

I also started the mane pulling process. After I fought through the tangles and globs of messed up hair that was messed up in ways I don't know how it could be possible, I started pulling. I only did maybe 4 inches of her hair, and I didn't go quite as short as I think I'll like it, but I figure I'd rather go a little long and then go shorter than go too short. I took before pictures, tomorrow I'll take some of her with her braids etc. and I'll document the whole extreme make over!!

You're right, better to be cautious. Nothing worse than a horse with a mohawk!Once you get through the whole mess it will be so much easier to do it the next time. Don't forget to show us the makeover.
