I Should Name My Farm "Peyton Place!"

Most of you know that Bonnie (my Jenny) had a little one (Paco) this spring ... well, now she wants another one! We had planned on it, but not this soon. So we separated Bonnie and Clyde (her on one side of the lake and him on the other). Well, Clyde crossed the lake to be with his wife ... so now they are having relations every hour or so .....

Well, my 2 mares decided they want to be included in on the fun .... so my gelding Copper is humoring them. Thank goodness they can't get into the Donkey pasture ... or I'd be VERY upset!

Now ... Copper is 15, sore on both front feet from an ongoing trimming issue, has to be hosed down every day because of the heat, and generally not very healthy .... well, he's acting like he's a prize stallion!

He's out there mounting them one after another ....

Ouy Vey! Spring is in the air!

LOL ... I wish!

I'm sending my 3 year old mare "Blue" off to training next month (again) so I'll have a horse to ride and my family keeps pestering me to breed her instead!

I just got a call from home .... "Call the owner of that stud you like .... Blue's ready!"

I'll never get her trained if everyones' got BABY FEVER!

Yeah ... it took him a good 2 days to get over his fear of water ...

No way I'm letting him near one of the horses!

The mares will just have to settle for the gelding!!

Too funny. I agree to train first then breed.
