She was placing in front of others for second in the hunter classes but not winning as Dizzy just has way too much elevation for western horse and carries his head too high
No surprise I am confused. In the pictures it looked like she was riding english. But she was in a western class?

Congrads on doing so well! Thanks for all the pictures. I LOVE 'em.

It is the western english. Hunter under saddle and such. She can't get him to search for peanuts. He did get the idea in the end that lowering his head was good. At least he had some idea of contact and accepting it. There was a stargazer in there. Another one whos canter was about Dizzies walking speed.

Hey Chick I was looking at the pictures when your mom sent me this link. I am sure you have alot of responses to your pictures as well.

I am so happy for you. You did good and Dizzy looks great. I know "pro" trainers who couldn't do that well with a young green horse. Good job Chick, you both did very well.

Would you like afew of us western people to get together and send you a real western saddle...horn and all.? I must admit I saw western class with english saddle and my head hurt a little...LOL If I could do english in a western saddle that would be so cool. I need to come to Australia.
