Thank you for your prayers...They will be needed. I walked in the barn tonight to get my things gathered up, and seeing her halter hanging without hearing her nickering at the door...my heart will be broken for a long time...

I know your pain too. I couldn't even clean the last pile of manure out of my gelding's stall - afterall, it was all I had left. I know that sounds rather strange, but hopefully a fellow horse lover will understand. When I could finally take it out (it had started to mold

), I buried it by a favorite rose bush - thus giving it some purpose in fertilizing the rose.

So sorry you had to go through this. We share in your loss and sadness.

Thank you for your story...I couldn't save anything other than her name plate...I just don't even know how to feel. I just want to cry but I cant...I just want my horse back...
