im looking for a stallin that does all western sports mostly barrels -show and roping i found one that does everything and he is a 1995 cremello stud.
My mare has good dis. i want to train the foal for western sport shown above and keep the mare and colt.

What kind of conformation does he have? Does he compliment your mare at all? What kind of conformation does your mare have?

Can you not just go to auction and buy a foal destine for slaughter? Just curious....as I don't tend to go to auctions, but a private buyer would also fit in that question.....

Does your mare REALLY have what it takes now? If not, why breed her?

ANY horse can be taught western events. Unfortunately, you can breed 2 EXCELLENT western horses and get this Odd Hunt Seat horse.

Genetics is one thing, but Performance also is influenced by environment, feeding, training, etc. MUCH more than just Genetics. And even then, you can really get something you DON"T want.

Things to REALLY Consider before breeding. Since breeding season is a few more months away, you have time to think about them.
