I need help wrapping polos .... I always get confused because some people say "Start right below the knee" and others say "Start in the middle" so .... can you please tell me how you guys wrap polos??? THANKS! |

i start below the knee. Mine are short so they go down once and halfway back up. Also make sure that when you tighten them you pull them when they are at the from of te foot. Dont pull when you are at the back that will mess up their tendonds. I cannot explain it well but thats how I was taught

wrap clockwise on the right and counter clockwise on the left thats how i do it when using polos for shipping boots.

You start at the point where your horse needs the extra support. Examples- suspensory start high, ankle start low, bows start in the middle. I go clockwise (I'm also a south paw) and always finish the velcro on the outside of the leg. Practice on the leg a few times until you can do it in your sleep.
