Red face I need hair help! Please! *pics*

I haven't had my hair done since May, and it's looking a bit ratty if I do say so myself.

This is what my hair looks like normally when it's been done [the very bottom underneath is usually a darker brown, too]:

After a few months [like three], this is what it normally looks like. My hair has a LOT of brassy tinges to it, so the individual highlights and low-lites eventually blend together.

I need a new "thing" for winter, I've been doing the same color combo for a year now.

I'm thinking something for winter. Putting more dark dark brown in my hair, with a little bit of blonde highlights? I'm not sure how I would look with darker brunette, I've only ever gone to the extreme ALL black or ALL maroon.

Ideas, pictures, etc are welcome! Also, hair cut ideas? I like my bangs, I'm keeping those. I am NOT cutting any length at all, as I want to grow it back down to my derriere.

My hair was your color, and like you I had that brassy tint to it that I didn't like.

I put a dark brown shadow underneath, and then on top I did small dark brown highlights, with also some bleach blonde highlights on top. It mixed with my natural color and it looks awesome! Here is a pic to show you what I'm talking about.

Also, maybe putting in some red highlights?

GET PICS! That sounds super pretty and I might copy you!! [I would probably add some blonde in mine, though]

well I have a lighter brown, my natural color, which to be honest I forgot what it used to be. LOL and a partial blonde weave. then I went to a rob zombie concert last week and a girl had a deep brown with plum/purple hightlights. I stalked her until I found out where she got it done. it looked so good. I have done dark with red and the red fades asap. but she said the violet stays for a while. she also did some blonde in the front for her pomp she did with her bangs. just a little hightlight.

wish I had gotten a pic. anyway I called and made an appt asap. LOL
