Thanks! Freckles is the paint I am going to be doing showmanship with as well and add some white on to Nikki and you have Freckles! So, I want something I can use with both of them.

Wheres the pics of DeDe????? Her sister is kicking hiney . She just won on sunday , her ammy class had 12 in it she won under both judges ( Jt Mitchel , and Gerald Butler) , Took second in open yearling fillies behind Rick Mclain.

In two shows she has her rom already. She is following in her daddy and brothers footsteps. Ditto won his ammy class out of 11 , under both judges , won the three year old gelding class and took grand. Yippee!!

I love cleaning up the gelding and filly classes with full brother and sister!! Such fun.

dont know if you would be interested but I have a hobby horse jacket I dont wear anymore, won the world and 2 res worlds with gunner in it!! so it has good kharma!! LOL!!

Here is a pic of it. I like simple, I personally think that everyone is getting there outfits so darn busy , they are taking away from the horse. I love your outfits in your pics they are gorgeous, but my eyes are drawn to you instead of your horse. Does that make sense?? This pic came through bad for some reason, its really a gorgeous jacket. not to much bling, but just enough.

I just took new pictures of DeDe last night. We have taken her to only one show and she got second in the class but should have won it, at least that is what people were telling me. Things slow down here during the summer, too hot to show, and DeDe doesn't like the heat either. She is lazy when it gets hot and lets you know she is not up to it. She gave a us a scare about 2 weeks ago, acted like she was colicly but in the end, the vet thinks it was just her hitting her first heat cycle, I guess some mares act that way. She is doing so well on the lunge line and both myself and my trainer can't wait to get her undersaddle. She is going to be fabulous at WP and HUS. My trainer is certain she is world material! We will be doing most of the shows in AZ in the fall including the POR in December so she should be getting some points.

Sounds like you are doing very well with your horses! I will be looking for you on the live feed for Paint Worlds!

What do you suggest I try for showmanship? I like that jacket, I liked it when I first saw that picture!

I will post the other pictures of our girl this evening as long as my computer lets me!

OMG!! That is the same exact outfit that I based my showmanship off of. I LOVE LJ Designs. I had a seamstress make mine, but I drew out all the designs, traced it on ultrasuede, cut it out, and placed in on the clothe with tacky. In all, getting that designe ready to sew on took 13 hours of hard work.

Here are some pics, as you can see I traded up the colors some. And I added flowers

It was really bright

BeyondtheRumors, I love you outfit! I sent Linda an email and found out there is a 1 year waiting list! I don't need anything until September and could wait a year but I don't know. She wasn't priced to badly either, right in my price range. I will keep looking for a bit and if no luck, I may go with her and have her make me something. I still could make it myself but time is limited for me.

Is who made my wine paisley jacket,I dont like much on her website right now but Im sure you could ask for something custom.

Here's mine, its not as fitted and solid as i would have liked but theres other things on the website that are more stiff lol.

Its not super bright but its not brown, kind of right in between.

Would you like to spend $1750?

http://www.showtimeshowclothing.com/...117201515.html

RIDICULOUS! I love Showtime's stuff, but they overcharge like craaazy. So I've boycotted the place. Haha, but I still have a couple used pieces of theirs that I got on Ebay.

I have a nice jacket I got about a year ago from them, but I have since sold the horse I planned on wearing it with. I didn't spend tons on it but ya, they are a bit expensive. I love that one you have listed and had looked at it but I just don't want to spend that kind of money.

I am planning on looking around at some of the shows too this fall, if nothing works out before then. I got a great jacket last December at the POR and they had lots of vendors with most showmanship outfits under $800.

I actually won the jacket off of Ebay. We only paid $160; she did the measurements cutsom but the material and design was already preset by her. Im sure I would probably like it better if it was custom but it has held up nice. Her work is nice, the only thing I would have changed is the stiffness, its a little stretchy and loose for SMS. But she did super quick shipping and payment was easy.
