I miss my horses

I sure do miss Shawnee and General.
I sent them to a new family just about a month ago before I moved back to Florida. But now I am back at my house in SC for a few weeks and it sure is lonely not seeing them run around the yard and talking to me.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to get over them, I loved them both so much.

You will - it just takes some time.

I had to sell my mare Ches when we moved form CO back to CT - she was the horse love of my life.

I still miss her now and its over 7 years since I sold her.

That would be the best thing ever, especially seeing Shawnee under saddle. Or General in his first show. I just can't wait, but I still miss them more than anything even though I know they are in a wonderful place.

Well I did not sell them, but I looked for a home to take them together, as I was moving from SC back to Fl. and just could not afford to take them. I went from 10 acres back to 2 acres and didn't think it would be fair to them, plus the cost was just crazy in Fl. So I hope I did the right thing for them. I did bring my 3 minis back though. So I'm not completely horses, just have little horse. But I sure do miss my big horses.
