I lost Maple's foal last night!!!:(

We had a very similar thing happen with a neighbor's mare 3 weeks ago. However, the neighbor was neglectful in that he left the mare like that and left her trying to foal for 36+hours.

Very sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Eleven months is a huge emotional (and financial) investment only to end in heartache. Losing a foal is always hard, but it is especially hard when it was your only one.
