Cool I like this Khemosabi Son!

This is the prettiest combination of bay with chrome IMO. His videos are nice too...I don't see too many flaws...he is a tad on the small side. My MIL is wanting to breed her Arab mare again and I want to help her find a GOOD stud. I love his blood...he is a KHEMOSABI son!

I LOVE Khemosabi and that is a good son of him. I always wanted to have a Khemo baby. I did get to see him a LONG time ago at Creston Oaks Arabians in CA. He was such a nice horse.

Marshalltown, Iowa, it is against the law for a horse to eat a fire hydrant.

I believe someone on this forum used to own a Khemo son...I can't remember their user name though...

I like Khemo himself. Beautiful horse. But if you go into his records and look at wat he produced...yes you get the odd great one, but considering he was bred to close to, if not 1000 mares and in "his day" he got most of the national champion mares bred to him because he was so popular. So looking at all the great mares he was bred to, and of course some average ones, don't you think there would be a lot better Khemo stuff then just the odd great one?

Khemo stuff generally (not always) has a nice eye, handsome or attractive face but not dished like an arab head should be, shoulders aren't great, too verticle and not horizontal enough, good bodies, and short legs. There movement is generally "flat" and most suitible for western.

So that's my reasoning for not being overly fond of Khemo stuff, it's not that I hate it, but it's just not something I would introduce into my breeding program for me. He was a great horse, but too many people get wrapped up in the individual and don't look at the results of what those great stallions are producing.
