I Have A Horse Show July 12,13!!!

I AM SO EXCITED!!
But to catch you all up on the new of RosshidSkylark...
I finally have my dream job( and of course I mean horse trainer).
But I am showing one of my boss's horses. His name is Sittin' on a Cloud. Cloud for short. I don't have any pics but I will by this weekend. Anytime I'm out there its only me.

I am also going to take LOTS of pics at the show as well so those will most definately be added ASAP. But if anyone has any hunter jumper showing tips I am very intrested in knowing everything.

Is "Sitting on a Cloud" a very smooth horse, I'm assuming he is by his name?

I photograph at a lot of Hunter Jumper Events and I only have two suggestions. 1 - Keep the horse between you and the ground. 2 - Don't forget to Breathe! Good Luck with your show!

Thanks everyone!! I'll try to remind myself to breathe but can't promise anything. I was out riding Cloud today and he did SSSOOO good *SO PROUD*. But yes he is like his name says. He is so easy to ride and his transitions are awesome.

Well the horse show was over the weekend and unfortunately... out of the first 3 classes on saturday we only placed in one.

We got 2nd in Equitation and in hunter 1 we refused twice and in hunter 2 we refused once. We didn't get to go Sunday becasue of the rain that we got saturday night.

I put the trailer back in the field and would have gotten stuck if we would have tried to get it out but they had the horse show.

Also going into our second course at the entrance gate cloud decided to throw a hiss fit and started to buck with a lot of people around and horses too!! I was SSOOO EMBARASSED!! I didn't want people to think that my horse was dangerous. Also when I got second my old trainer was standing outside that gate and passing by she made fun of my bridle

because it had been broke and I didn't have money to buy another so I took it took a leather fixer person and they fixed it but it still doesn't look the greatest.
Sorry for blabbing everyones ear off but I wanted to let everyone know. But pics will be added as soon as I get to it. SORRY!!
