ROTFLOL!!! Nothing like that. I watched him ride (for 30 minutes) the "unbroke" horse he used LATER in the clinic to show everyone how wonderful a trainer he was and how excellent his methods were that he could get on an "unridden" horse and have it soft and responsive in a 1 hour clinic setting. RIGHT ![]() Then there was the "unloadable" horse that he schooled forever on loading the day before the clinic (at the owners place, I knew the owner and was there) so that he could show everyone his phenominal training skills by taking an "unbroke" to the trailer horse at the show and teach it how to load quietly in just minutes. RIGHT ![]() Too much showmanship and not enough truth in advertising. He also has rubber necked horses that I would NEVER want to own or ride.

OH! And how could I have forgotten the horse he turned down because his "people" had asked for an unhandled horse for him to work at a clinic and when he came by to "approve" of my other friends horse, he said it would not work because it had not been handled at all other than to move from one pasture to another loose. It was "too wild" and he didn't have time to break it to halter before he could use it in his "show" to show everyone how to break and unhandled horse to the halter and some ground manners. ROTFLOL!!! You could walk up and pet the colt, just didn't stand to have a halter put on. ROTFLOL!!! Even better was the horse he "accepted" for the clinic. It was a "barn horse" that was a little goosie, but had been haltered a number of times, just not worked with. It was billed at the clinic as an "unhandled horse that had been untouched out on pasture since the day it was weaned off it's mom". It was 3 years old, unridden but NOT untouched, LOL. Ever wonder why these "Awesome Wonderful Horse Gods" have a hard time developing a following amongst "seasoned" horse owners? It's because we are in the position to see this sort of thing and know better, LOL!

People are ridiculous. Thats all I can say to this whole thread. lol. Train your horse the way you want and be quiet unless a horse is being seriously harmed... But people just can't do that...

and we go full circle again. Just about clinician has something of value to teach us, yes even Parelli (his voice makes my skin crawl). I even used some of Anderson's methods. I don't dare if he pre works his horses. I'm looking at the human vs horse behavior. How do horses communicate. I can speak English to a Russian who doesn't speak English all day long and they wont understand a word. but If I take the time to learn Russian then I have improved my ability to communicate. But trust me if that Russian stomped on my foot he'd get smacked too. So learn how horses communicate and good and bad pressure and you have improved your ability to train your horse. And if you are charismatic and have a good advertising staff you might make a few bucks in the process.

And beware those that seek "Godhood" for themselves. There is usually a "hole" in their own training somewhere, LOL!
