I whispered to my horse once. He stepped away from the top rail of the corral while I was attempting to slide my leg over his back. The resulting fall knocked the air clean out of me. Yeah, I whispered to him for about 2 minutes. Not a word of it, could I repeat here.

I just wear an "I'm pro slaughter" T-shirt when I'm around them. You would be surprised how many horses can read. (Uh-oh........I said the "S" word )
