Are my grandkids going to post on this thread?

It sure has been here for a long, long time now.

We've established multiple times that not everybody who uses Nh hates those who don't, that there is nothing we do with horses that is natural, that if nothing else PP and others really know how to market, and that no one seems to know what MS's definitions of "Natural" and "Traditional" horsemanship is.

What all points did I miss so we can try to wrap this up and not turn it over to our grandkids to re-type what we have already said.

While I have a lot of respect for all the NH trainers, the few condescending people I've met make it very hard to like 'NH'.

One thing I'll mention in regards to the last line.... If you think NH people are condenscending, try the Dressage world on for a week HOLY SMOKES, lolol... BUT I do not let other people dictate my own attitude nor what I will or will not learn and enjoy just because SOME of those that may have the same interests as I do, can't seem to get off their false high horse and on to their real horse

hehe. the Dressage world is fun to view. you'd think that they're all at least royalty. or so the ones at my barn.

Note I said "the few condescending NH people". There's just a few I've come in contact with that are condescending. That's not saying I don't learn from the NH people. It just makes it very hard to like the whole idea.

As far as dressage goes, I did work at a dressage barn for awhile but I really have no desire to ride dressage. That said, I think dressage can help any horse and I read dressage books.

What you have to realize LGGL and everyone else... at this point in time MS is just trying to be the last word on the topic as she ALWAYS TRIES to do... and when she can't out argue you any longer, she puts you on "IGNORE" since she gets tired of being made to look the blowhard fool that she can come across as at times....

She is DEFINATELY continuously doing what she claims "THEY" (I too wonder who THEY are since not ALL people who use NH principals go around telling other people it is the only way to do things ) all do... BOY just go to a thread where someone asks about working on collection and headseat and bring up the word DRAW REINS or TRAINING FORK and you'll get pages of her telling people that anyone who would use such tools (even assuming they use them in a proper fashion and not as a force action)are incapable of correctly riding/training a horse because it's not how SHE learned to do things a whole whopping 20 yrs ago, blah, blah, blah...

So yes she's indeed doing the very thing she says she "HATES" about "NH FOLLOWERS" the slamming of another person's choice of methodology and tools to get a job done effectively and in a fair manner for the horse.

Do you like the NH methods for the most part and feel that it has something of value to offer?

Are you and avid NH follower?

Do you dislike the average back yard enthusiastic NH follower or the avid NH trainer?

Do you prefer to research your training issues and seek advice or do you welcome stranger offering you advice unsolicited?

Do you cringe the moment some tells you that they are a certified so n so NH Trainer?

Do enjoy going to training clinics?

Does the title certified NH training cause you to shut down and tune out or does it intrigue you?

Do you find this thread entertaining or monotonous?

Do you care if others don't buy your training style?

It just a thought to see if we can get a clearer pictures for those who seem to weave in and out of the fog of NH, dodging the comments they have had to reply to and defend, push or flip on those same comments?
