| Senior Member+  |  I got it! I just have to share =) I GOT A WORKING STUDENT JOB FOR NEXT SUMMER  I am so excited! I just had to share. For the last month I been going down to Indy (2 hour drive) with my mom's friend (who owns the friesian in my gallery) to watch her take lessons. Her horse is in current training under a great rider named Jennifer Conour. She is well know in Wellington Florida, and Midwest. I go down there to help Jennifer and what not. And this weekend I wanted to ask her about working student programs and taking Maillet down for training Jan. to Marchish  And I really wanted my mommy to do it for me. But I had to s.u.c.k it up and ask her. And I DID! And she said yes! And that she's been giving my task to do. Hard ones per say like riding 7 young horses in one day  Lifting 20 bales of hay by myself. Which I am awful proud of myself. Anyways the moral of the story is. Every weekend from now on I will be going down to visit and help and next summer I got the position! And she even invited me to couple shows in Sept. and Oct. AND to go to Europe with her! that is SOOOO awesome kissit!! i'm so happy for you and malliet! im about to have to ask my trainer about the same thing and i have NO guts lol... you're so lucky you're done!! yayaayayay! once again, so happy for you!

That sounds like a great oppurtunity! Congratulations! Sounds like you're going to have alot of fun, and learn a lot! I want to hear all about it!

That's WONDERFUL news!!! Congratulations!! It sounds like you rightly deserve the position, so good for you! I'm sure it'll be tough, back breaking work, but even more worth the experience and work.
