Yikes, please please please don't jump him anymore! If it's not your horse, you can't make the owner do one thing or another, but you can refuse to ride or jump the horse on your own moral grounds. In my opinion, horses shouldn't even be *ridden* at 2, let alone jumping! He may seem fine and dandy now, but his body is simply not ready to hold up to that stress. I hope for this horse's sake that you heed our advice and stop jumping him. Even riding him. I know people race 2yos and show them at high levels of competition, but this does not make it right. Let him be a baby

But anyways, I'm sorry you fell, that's never fun.

* I will not contribute to any joint issues from jumping a horse too young*

could you just mention it and tell her that it's not the safest thing to do? Tell her nicely of course.... but just say what we both said.

You don't have to promise us anything Don't ride him for the sake of his health and your safety if you're not confident on him. We only point these things out because we're concerned about the horse, not because we're picking on you.

Yes he can jump, but that doesn't mean it's good for his baby bones and joints. No 2 year old should be jumping in my opinion...

You should NOT be jumping a 2 year old- let alone jumping him months ago!!!! If you are riding a horse that young at all it should be very light w/t work.
