It very easily could have been stolen.

But the thing is is that I had it so well concealed you wouldn't even be able to guess it was money. I had it folded in paper so it looked like a letter or something. You couldn't see money at all.

I knew someone who worked for the PO...he said they could almost always tell when there was money. I'm hoping for you that it wasn't stolen.

Don't ever send cash in the mail. I have had mail returned to me by the Post Office because it got caught in their machines, and torn into confetti, there was only the lower right hand corner of my check in a big enough piece to read, the rest was about the size of a pencil eraser.

And if it is important that it gets there, for 50 cents, they will put a signature card on it.

There are also people who will go around on the first days of each month, and steal mail, because so many people get checks then. And that could have happened to your cash. Or could have gotten stuffed down into a newspaper, or blown out of box.

Agreed with the no sending cash thing... next time, take that cash to the post office and get a money order, and then send it certified mail with a signature required for delivery.

we have gotten others people's mail numerous amounts of times even people who don't live on our street so it could have easily made it to the wrong house. I know you say things like this never happen and the mail you send to them always gets to them but theres always a first for everything!

I hope they get it though. It could have just been delayed. Unfortunately theres no way to track it down or anything.

Yeah, I am definitely praying it's just delayed. It's happened before, so I'm crossing my fingers.

And yes, there are definitely always firsts.
