I am so happy

I was so nervous about taking on a horse because it is such a huge commitment but I decided to go for it and I couldn't be happier! I found a wonderful boarding stable and everyone there is sooo nice & helpful, I need it since he is my first horse. I had his hooves trimmed the other day and he was such a good boy. When I went to see him yesterday I called his name and he galloped over to me, it warmed my heart.
I live in the city..I can't tell all of you how wonderful it feels to go out to the country and spend time with him, my stress just melts away. I don't care if he isn't ride-able (old injury), he is becoming my good friend

I'm so happy for you! Congrats on your new horse. Mine has become a pasture ornament here lately, but I still love just spending time with him. Something about horses just soothes the soul

Thank you everyone!!!!
He was injured 2 yrs ago in the pasture, a puncture wound to his fetlock. He doesn't limp but the vet thinks he would if ridden. I am giving him joint supplements and maybe some therapy so who knows down the road if he may be able to be ridden lightly but it really doesn't matter to me.
