Post Hurricane Season and A Sheer Cliff

The story takes place in San Sebastian, P.R. August through November is hurricane season. And right now PR is in-between two hurricanes:Gustav on the left and Hanna on the right. So its raining like crazy over here. Well yesterday I had swiched my horse and her filly to another area that is not closed what so ever (she can even get in other people's property if they go very far), but I knew she wouldn't go far (I was wrong!)I had moved her because in the area where she was in it was very muddy and your whole foot can sink so I put her in the other place cause my mom had her horse there one time but she didn't go away. The land is more up hill and the water level wouldn't reach that area.

Afterwards I went to my grandmas house (she lives in Moca). We were there mowing her huge lawn before it would start raining at around 2:00. But it only started sprinkling and lightning and thundering, no harsh rain at all. When we left grandma's house we were returning home to San Sebastian. The waterfall that we live close to was triple the size than normal , I was thinking I rained alot here. When we got home the creek behind our house on pillars WAS OVERFLOWING ! It reached under our house! I was worried about my horses! I went to bed.The next day I woke up (Which is today) I hurried put my clothes on, put my boots on to pass the creek (since it lowered alot) and passed the creek very slowly to not get water in my boots and went in search for my horses.I had already walked a distance caling them with no response(they were so far away they couldn't hear me).I kept on walking and calling their names and heard the fiily neigh to me! Her mother was not with her! Franticlly I started looking around until my eyes went moving over a sheer cliff... and there she was standing above me! I climbed it with the filly infront of me and I reached the mother. I went farther up to see where I was and saw a house in front of me and a road, they couldn't see us because it was still going upward but evening as I go.

When I was starting to go down (not with the horse it was to steep) I was sliding the whole way down! I had to put my feet side ways to keep me from tumbling face down. I got to my house, called my mom and, got two ropes and went back to get them. When me and my mom climbed the cliff the horses were in the same spot I left them, they were blocked off because of fallen trees. I put the ropes on both filly and mare and started our way upward, we reached the house,my mom called out to the person who lived there because we didn't know where we were! He came out, started talking and found out he knows our family! He showed us the way and saw we were behind our friends house! We knew the rest of the way and got safely to our house with no problem.

AHHHHH, home sweet home. At last.
