Hunter or Hunter Prospect **Wanted**!

Well I'm having such bad luck with finding horses on my own, so I figgured I'd have you guys help me. The whole point in me finding a horse was so I would have my own by the summer, and I have yet to find anything that I like and that works out.
  • 15.2HH or taller
  • $3,000 or cheaper
  • Trained in or has the potential for Hunters- prefferably started over X rails
  • 4-12 years old
  • In MI
  • Potential or Trained in dressage (does not matter THAT much)
  • Has been or quiet enough for trail riding

Have you only been out to see the two horses?

No WAY more than that. Umm I've lost count but I'm sure I'm coming up on 10 horses that I've gone to see. I've liked 2 of them so far, one is the grey who I haven't ridden and I'm still deciding on weather or not I should. The grey is the only one (other than the bay that Kim rode) that I haven't ridden.

Who's the other one that you liked? What didn't you like about the other ones?

The other one I liked was Patchwork, who was over priced but we gave the owner a more reasonable offer and she said no, so we offered a little higher and she said no. Any higher than what we offered would have been WAAAY too much, other than the price she was perfect.

I went to a very well known (and I've heard only good storys about him) horse trader around here. He showed me quite a few, all of them had the western pleasure look and thier movement wasn't too great. None of them stuck out to me.

I'm not being picky about the size or color (I hate greys actually lol) or breed even. I guess I'm just too picky with thier movement and thier training.

Just none of the horses that I've seen have really stuck out. And with my price range I know I'm not going to get a drop dead gorgeous floaty mover, but I still want something atleast a little nice.
