Anyone have tips on thinning out a shetland pony mane?

well with my shetlands mane i just bull the bushy side threads that make the mess and tidy it up a bit as a shetlands mane looks best partly plaited and left naturally down try pulling hairs and neatening the frizz at the sides!

Get a pair of thinning shears......flop half the mane over to the other side. Then thin out the bottom half to where you want it. If you're going to thin mane, do it on the bottom side. That will keep it from frizzing on the top and from creating short hairs that stick up on the top.
