I always keep my snaffle in the same position no matter what. And when its in that position it always lays on top so it becomes easier to tighten.

My curb is usual between my ring and pink or just on the outside of my pinky. It just depends.

hold the rein attached to the top "bit" portion of the pelham like a normal rein and the lower curb rein goes outside your pinkie. you can then just use your pinkie to lower the head or use just ring finger for the bit or both at the same time...that's how they are held in the hunter ring

There are a couple of ways to hold double reins, what suits you best depens on your experience and what is most comfortable for you.
I usually keep the snaffle rein in the normal possition. The second rein goes between pinky and ring finger.

Yep, just like just_me's picture.

Really it doesn't matter which fingers you hold them with, as long as your snaffle is on the bottom and the curb is on the top.

I actually pass the snaffle reins (on your pelham, the one that attaches at the top of the bit) under my pinky and then the curb rein goes either between my pinky and ring, or my ring and middle finger.

This is interesting... Iv always had my snaffle under my pinky, and the curb between my middle and ring fingers.
